5) How am I charged for services?
Invoices will be raised within 48 hours of your consultation.
If you are insured and have provided pre-authorisation codes, the invoice will first be directed to your insurer. You will subsequently be invoiced for any excess or shortfall according to your individual policy.
If you are self-paying, you will be invoiced directly and can pay by cash or bank card at your appointment or a subsequent bank transfer. We are not able to take telephone payments. Details of how to pay will be provided on your invoice.
Please note that invoices from Mrs Badvie’s office relate to her specialist services only. Where a procedure is performed in the outpatient department, or a diagnostic test or operation is recommended, the hospital will provide you with details of their charges. You can request this information directly from the hospital.
6) What happens after my appointment?
Mrs Badvie will tailor the next step to your individual case and discuss this with you at the end of your appointment. You may require diagnostic tests or an operation may be recommended. These will be discussed with you in detail.
